Who will be the best teams in the state next year?

 

Here is a few I think will be very good.

Scott Co.

Ballard

Rose Hill

Henry Clay

I know I have no teams from Western Ky, and only 1 from Louisville on here. I was hoping some other people could shed some light on who else will be good. These are the ones I know the most about, who will have good teams.

JBS will be good but will not compete for a state title. If you throw them in there you have to add Shelby Valley and even Paintsville, two teams who will be better than JBS next year imo. But your list does look pretty good.

Everything starts with Scott Co., I believe Mason will be right there,and Elliott will be competitive with any program in the state

What about Warren Central? They are always in the thick of things. Also, the school that Scotty Hopson plays for, are they a contender?

Just what I saw from the summer. I probably forgot someone...sorry. Also I didn't see any of the Northern Kentucky schools that I recall.

What about Warren Central? They are always in the thick of things.

 

Warren Central will contend for their region, but I do not expect them to be of the same significance statewide next year. They dropped 7 seniors from their last team, including all 5 starters and first man off the bench. The year after they may be getting back into this discussion.

I think when you put a mountaineer and a wildcat as sophomores on the same team at rose hill...they can do quite a bit of damage for years to come.

I'm a 16th guy, but I don't think you can compare Elliott and RoseHill with the Scott Counties of the state just yet. Elliott needs to pick up the D a little to be at that level, haven't seen what RoseHill is going to bring to the table yet. Hopefully both will be great, but rebounding, defense and handling the ball versus pressure will be keys when these teams go against the big boys outside the 16th. I can't wait to watch both of these teams play several times this year.

When has that mattered! You guys are always good and I wouldn't be surprised to watch a couple Central games at Rupp again this year!
