Thanks for the updates.

No problem, Belisle gave up baserunners each of the first 4 innings, but managed to get out of it. Had an easy 5th, but he is pitching pretty darn good. Would be nice to have a few more runs.

Going to the bottom of the 6th, still 1-0.

Glavine has allowed just one hit -- the HR to Phillips. Belisle has thrown 77 pitches through 5 innings.

2 out single by Green to tie the game at 1-1.

I blame Marty for jinxing Belisle. After Belisle gave up a leadoff hit to start the inning, Marty made sure to reiterate that Matt has been skating on thin ice the whole game.

End of 6, 1-1. I didn't realize that Glavine had only given up that 1 hit, wasn't even paying attention to it.

Going to bottom of the 7th, 1-1.

Runners at 1st and 2nd 1 out. Belisle strikes out Beltran and then strikes out Wright.

1-1 going to the 8th. Just WOW.

The good ole 8th....

Would be an awful way to lose this game, IF history repeats itself.

1-1 going to the bottom of the 8th. Here we go.

Stanton will start the inning. He gets Delgado to pop out. Lo Duca lines out.

Green doubles, Milledge singles, 2-1.

Unbelievable, but can't be surprised. All with 2 outs.

Stanton out, Saarloos in. Stanton threw a fit in the dugout, I can only hope he hurt himself and can't pitch anymore the rest of the year.

Saarloos gets out of the inning with no more damage, 2-1 going to the 9th.

Wagner in, strikes out Ross. Keppinger grounds out. Freel pops out.

Really tough loss, but we are used to this now.

Would be nice for the Reds to bounce back tomorrow, get a split of the series and get the road trip off to a good start. Too bad they are facing the lefty Perez tomorrow, could get ugly.

I do hope the Reds win tomorrow though! Tough loss for them tonight!

Another lefty tomorrow. Oliver Perez, you're the next contestant in the Steve Carlton pitchalike contest!

I think Reds fans need to embrace the strong possibility that this team is destined to lose 100 games.
