July 3, 200719 yr They have the right system in place IMO. No way a kid should be able to sign a binding LOI until they are in to their senior year... Not necessarily saying LOI. Like I said, I don't really know the proper method, but this seems to be happening more and more frequently.
July 3, 200719 yr Not necessarily saying LOI. Like I said, I don't really know the proper method, but this seems to be happening more and more frequently. The kids that "like to talk" are called all the time by the recruiting services. Willie might win the award for the all time favorite...
July 3, 200719 yr WW mom said she was going to take his cell phone away because he talks too much. Our recruiting guy told me today he would call and Willie would be in a loud setting, but would always answer. He'd then walk away to a quiet spot and give an interview. Most of the time you are lucky to get a kid to even answer, much less walk away from what he's doing every time...
July 3, 200719 yr WW mom said she was going to take his cell phone away because he talks too much. That is awesome.
July 3, 200719 yr Yes.That's taken completely out of context. Read as a response to SA's post: You yourself know.. if you have 2-3 guards coming in 07, 09, 10.. and only 2-3 guards on the floor at a time.. someone is sitting. From what I read there.. Warren actually wants to go to a lesser hyped school and get early PT for sure. Maybe he is not overly confident in his game. anyone that's not trolling for an argument would see that I did not say that Billy Clyde's recruiting was having issues. I used the word as being synonymous with 'reason,' as in "the real reason Willie Warren might not be as high on UK isn't so much that they're getting verbals but that they're getting so many down the road." So cut it out.
