June 5, 200719 yr   But, to be fair, ANY take out coffee is going to run you a lot per gallon. Same with soda.:sssh: About 15 years ago, before Graters started selling bulk ice cream, I went in to one of their stores trying to buy a gallon of ice cream. The told me they'd let me have it for $60.

June 5, 200719 yr True dat... I'm a "little" sensitve about the Starbucks issue. Like George Bush, Starbucks gets unfair blame for things that people don't understand. (Did I just defend GWB? :creepy:)

June 5, 200719 yr My 3 sons and I consume approximately 3 gallons of milk every 10 days or so. Stuff costs more than gas in my household.
June 5, 200719 yr Like George Bush, Starbucks gets unfair blame for things that people don't understand. (Did I just defend GWB? :creepy:) Lord, you can take me now! I've officially seen it all!
June 5, 200719 yr Y'all would be aghast at what I pay for milk. :lol;Yeah, Tibetan albino llama milk -- and not the 2% stuff either!
June 5, 200719 yr The other day, I stopped in the convenience store and I wanted a bottle of water because I was thirsty and I also needed to take some medicine. They had lots of brands, all for somewhere between $ .99 and $1.39 per bottle. Right beside them in the cooler were gallon jugs of drinking water, for a price of $1.49. After a short rationalization, I decided to just buy the gallon jug. I probably looked funny driving down the road drinking from a gallon jug. But it lasted me about 4 days and I felt really good and fiscally fit for doing it.

June 5, 200719 yr I wait until Sat or Sun when Walmart marks it down as low as 1.76 a gal. Last week it was only marked down to 2.50 a gal. FUEL PRICES ARE THE REASON FOR THE HIGH PRICES OF EVERYTHING ELSE. AVOID BUY ANYTHING AT THE GAS STATIONS BUT GAS. A SMALL WAY OF FIGHTING BACK BUT VERY AFFECTIVE IF ENOUGH DO IT.
June 5, 200719 yr Yeah, Tibetan albino llama milk -- and not the 2% stuff either! It is not! Although, if it were, I would want it blessed by the Dali Lama! Toots...that's some funny stuff! And, I use the same rationale for buying the gallon bucket of ice cream for $4.49.
June 5, 200719 yr Although, if it were, I would want it blessed by the Dali Lama! Folks, don't let her pull the alpaca wool over your eyes! Who do you think makes the deliveries?!
