Point taken. I do wish Bush the best...he was a beast on the basketball court as well. UK had players injured in that game too. Just stating the facts of the game. Tatoos aren't as bad as broken leg(s)...but that is just my opinion. By the way, my 1st post was factual UL got a good recruit and they do wear L's on their head, I stated good for them. I have yet to see any evidence of tatoos as a result of the games. Not smack, just the facts.

Getting tattooed is a common enough way of saying someone got hit so hard it will leave a mark (especially used in football or boxing) or to describe a pitcher getting roughed up in baseball.:thumb:

Louisville is also looking at John Elway's son as a potential qb recruit.

I'm sensing a backhanded complement here.

Not true! My point is that Louisville is getting a good reputation in the recruiting circles. They have good players who are getting drafted into the NFL. Someone (assistant coaches) is doing a good job evaluating talent at Louisville.

 

With that said, by Louisville taking a 1-star kid will get him raised to a 3-star player just by the good reputation of evaluating talent that they have established. That is how these recruiting services operate. For instance, if an unknown running back gets offered by USC, that would put him up to a 4-star player immediately.

 

There is nothing backhanded about my compliment of U of L........just a straight compliment about their recruiting.

Actually I think the recruiting services tend to operate whereas they will downgrade a kid who commits early, and elevate kids who are still openly being recruited. The more high profile kids who are open, the more traffic they can draw to their site.
