I don't miss an episode (thank you DVR).

 

As to it being unrealistic...it is. However, it's entertainment, I'm not that concerned about it. As several of you know, my dad is retired ATF and he said the next time the FBI BAU goes on site to help with a profile will be the first time it happens.

 

Regardless, I really like the show.

Wednesday nights at 9:00 just after Bones.

 

I wouls say Wednesday at 9:00 on CBS after Jericho...but that is just me.

I love it too.

 

I could poke zillions of holes in the show but I am satisfied with just being entertained.

 

For you guys wanting to get into law enforcement I think one of the worst things you can do is major in Criminal Justice. If law enforcement doesn't work out you have zero to fall back on. I would consider a business degree, a marketing degree, or maybe even a teaching degree. The police department that hires you will teach you everything you need to know so it is better to be more well rounded.

Some of the episodes I watched were a little too disturbing. I mean there's already enough nut jobs out ther that don't really need any new ideas. With the nightly news being as depressing as it is I prettty much watch comedy or sports.

My wife and I never miss it.

Regarding how realistic programs are; I just want to be entertained. If I was a real stickler for accuracy, I would never be able to get over the "bus jump" in the movie Speed.

I think that I might check it out after reading these bgp reviews :thumb: , I haven't watched Criminal Minds at all.

Wednesday Bones then Criminal Minds

Thursday CSI which is starting to get weird even for me. Then Shark.

 

Deadliest catch to fill in all of the free time for me.

I'm actually considering more than just Law Enforcement. However, Criminal Justice is really the one subject that I enjoy learning about. I enjoy each and every Criminal Justice class I've taken (Aside from Statistics).

 

Along with Law Enforcement, I'm considering even trying to get into a Law School if possible. I have a little over a year before I graduate. With a Criminal Justice degree I believe I could also look to work in Corrections as well as Law Enforcement.

BTW, I didn't mean to start a conversation on how realistic it is. I believe while it is very unrealistic, it is 10 times more entertaining than many other shows in the same genre (ex. CSI).

I didn't start watching the show until mid-season. It followed a sporting event and I got hooked. I DVR the show every week now.
