May 9, 200719 yr Florida has to be second, there one of two teams to win multiple championships this decade. Kentucky should be higher than 7. They have a national championship in the last 10 years, something Kansas or Arizona hasnt done. 17 NCAA tournament wins, and 6 SEC championships, 5 in the tournament. Not alot of standout players, but over the last 10 years, Kentucky hasnt done that bad.
May 9, 200719 yr On the other hand, in that stretch North Carolina has been to 3 Final Fours. I think you have to look at the years that UNC was very mediocre. Kentucky was atleast a top 32 team every season. I think Kentucky as well as Kansas should be rewarded for consistency.

May 11, 200719 yr I think it's ok, sorta, however UK did have some good strides in rescent years, and last I checked 2007-10 equals 1997. So I'm not sure how you don't include that runner up season in there. Not trying to be a homer, just stating the obvious thats all. But Over all for a 10 year time period it's exceptable.

May 11, 200719 yr I'm sorry, but two extra trips to the big stage outweighs that. Not just that. The fact that UK has made it to atleas the top 32 and UNC had losing records during that stretch. UK has consistently been good and has more wins than UNC in the past 10 years. Because of that I put UK ahead of UNC.

Yeah, they had that 3 year stretch, but each has a NC, but UNC has 3 FF conpared to 1 for UK. I think that is where it really counts. IMO
May 11, 200719 yr Yeah, they had that 3 year stretch, but each has a NC, but UNC has 3 FF conpared to 1 for UK. I think that is where it really counts. IMO I believe that it also counts that UK never even came close to a losing season in that stretch and has much more wins. Its very close either way, but I give the nod to UK.
