May 7, 200719 yr I'm ok with the list. I might've changed the order a little bit but all of the teams on it deserve to be there. The only question I have is how did GONZAGA make honorable mention??? They didn't even make a final four and made what one elite eight? They don't deserve that.

May 7, 200719 yr A top 10 list of the last 10 years would place every title winner (there have been 8 different title winners) as obvious automatic selections. Then, if you add multiple FF participants without titles, you're only adding UCLA, Ohio State, and Kansas. That's only 11 obvious contenders. I wouldn't have had Zona on my list. It's kind of a cop-out. A top 5 wouldn't actually much much more open to debate IMO- the top 5 programs of the past 10 years are pretty indispuitable, IMO. With this list, you're pretty much arguing over order. I would rather see a top 25, which opens the field up a little bit. Or a top 3. But top 10 is a little too easy, and top 5 is WAY too easy, outside of agreeing on order.

May 7, 200719 yr Kentucky actually gets credit for the 98 Championship which helped it's ranking in this poll. It will be interesting to see how the poll looks at the end of the decade.

Syracuse Well if you are counting 98 you would have to put UK ahead of UNC IMO, because while UK had a few off years they always were in the round of 32 atleast while UNC had what 3 really down years. Other than that I really likd your list.
