I don't think the show is near what it used to be but I am riding it out. This season has been fair.

What about little Vito deucing in the shower at school. That's something I could have lived without seeing.

I am with you. After the third or fourth season, they have been reaching ever since. There is no story line or anything taking place right now... it has significantly dropped off. I am like you in that I am sticking it out.

I expect a lot of action these last few episodeds.

I just finished the 3rd season on DVD and I am hooked.

Hate hearing that it goes downhill from here.

The episode where Chris and Paulie spend the night in the woods in the abandoned van just cracked me up.

It has been a great show, but I agree it has lost steam.

I was a dedicated watcher through season four, but was without HBO for a couple years and got out of the habit of watching. I watched the first couple episodes this season but it hasn't really drawn me back in after missing season five and the first half of six. I'll probably have to sit down with the DVDs one weekend and play catchup.

As I said, the first 4 seasons are awesome and DVD is a great way to do it... My favorite episode is when Tony takes Meadow on a college visit. It really gets at what the Sopranos is all about in the boss having to juggle his family life with work.

My bad on spoiling everything for you :p

No harm done, so "fuhget aboudit". :D

It is funny that you brought this up, because the Russian got away. I think this will come back in this final season somewhere. If something happens with the Russian mafia, you heard it here first...:thumb:

Toots,

I think it is still worth watching, just not as good as it was back in the day. :D

Pauly has been in lime light the lst two episodes. I think he is going down real soon. Has anyone noticed how Tony's brother in law is different since he whipped Tony?

It seems to keep building up and foreshadowing something big every week...I keep waiting for it to blow up, but it never does. I've been expecting a big dramatic change every week for the past month and it never seems to happen. It just keep building up pressure. It has to blow up within the next week or two so they'll have some time to play it out to some degree.

I thought last week was much better and more old Soprano like.

Pauly is always the same, me me me me me me me me me me me me me me me.... Love it!

I think Anthony Jr will bite the dust (maybe a suicide) and either Chris or Pauly buys the farm at the hand of the other.
