Or Head to Park Hills!!!!:D

It did? What did it mean? Did they win a championship or something.

I think player experience meant more to the Raiders, otherwise they would have seen experienced pitching, luvin wouldn't have started in left for the first time this year and we would have had O'hara behind the plate. But the young guys got a chance and they played pretty well, that's all it meant.

Highlands had some younger guys on the field also. They had a freshman behind the plate, a sophmore plying SS when Allen was pitching and a JV player hitting as the DH. Great game Birds!

Who were the Catcher, SS, and DH???

Not sure the SS but the Catcher was Sammy Liggett, and the DH was Teddy Abner. Also not sure but someone said that Teddy had 14 at bats in two days and reached base something like 11 times. That is what you call getting it done!!!! Go Birds

From what I understand, that wasn't a choice, it's all they have.

It was enough on that day. Ryle tried to win the game.

Charlie Gold plays SS when Allen pitches.

Couldn't we just give credit to where credit is due and say congratulations to the Birds for a great game, they obviously came out ready to win and they did.As we all know, it's possible that anyone can beat anyone else on any given day in the 9th Region.
