April 22, 200719 yr Author We can't trust your opinion... I'm kidding. I really don't see Clarke and Warren being a package deal for Kansas. I think Clarke will be at Kansas. I think Warren is either Texas or Kentucky. Kansas is my gut instinct on Warren and Clarke but they are a long way from deciding yet. Both have been playing AAU ball together for a while and they get along very well on and off the court. I'm hoping to get ahold of my buddy that was at Kingwood by tonight or tomorrow. I know he talked to Warren at least once...

From what I have read/heard, I don't think he was there. I did, however, read/hear that possibly Cyprien was there.

April 22, 200719 yr Not positive, there are so many names out there for the 08 kids. They will likely only have 2 rides, maybe three to give, but Im guessing they will have a transfer or two in the next year or so. "Cyp" followed Warren at all 5 of his games. Warren was playing some PG which may be his pro position but is suited for the 2g at the college level...many school will try and sell him on one or the other. They also tailed Aminu as well. Dont forget In Pittsburgh was Darius Miller. Another name that has surfaced is Beas Hamga, a 7 footer who has drawn comparisons to Emeka Okafor. Had verballed to Iowa before Alford left, not positive if he is 07 or 08.

April 23, 200719 yr Willie Warren's running mate and likely package deal was lights out from deep at the Kingwood event in Houston this weekend. Billy D, Mick, Tubby, Bill Self and Rick Barnes were seen watching the pair this weekend. I'm sure Gillispie was in the crowd at some point as well. At least I hope he was. Warren made it clear last week he was going to be paying close attention to what schools were checking him out in person... Warren knows how much BCG wants him, he got a text from him at about 2am during the week.
April 23, 200719 yr Have also heard that Warren was ready to commit to UK now, but his mother doesnt want him to rush into anything, so he is going to wait until the end of summer to make a decision. Unless things change I think UK leads at this point for his services.
