Or does anyone else hate the yanks like I do? Ive never liked them, never will. They've won ALOT more than anyone else in baseball could imagine, they have more money to waste than anyone else, more allstars, and of course dereck jeter:mad:. Im a hater but i cant help it. Btw there beating MY Indians right now 8-3 in the botton of the 4th.

I always cheered for them when Don Mattingly was there, as well as David Cone. Other than that, however, I'm pretty indifferent.

I have always disliked the Yankees but I do have respect for Derek Jeter because he is such a great influence on the game of baseball!

It is not that I hate the Yankees, I just get tired of the press of the Yanks and Sox. THere are other good teams and other rivalries out there.

My three most disliked sports franchises are as follows:

 

1. New York Yankees - The Evil Empire

2. Los Angeles Lakers - Begins with Lew Alcindor & now Kobe Bryant

3. Dallas Cowboys - Mostly because I was a Steelers fan in my younger days.

Love the Yankees, always have. Been a fan since the Munson years so I have lived through some very lean years too so that allows me to really appreciate the mid to late 90's and hopefully they can make another run this year. I actually got to go to Yankee Stadium for the first time last year for the season opener and I hope to go back before they leave that one for the new one.

My most hated franchises:

 

1. Duke Men's Basketball: The holier than thou routine is very old.

 

2. L.A Lakers: How could someone ever root for Kobe? He makes Allen Iverson look like the most unselfish player in the league.

 

3. Boston Red Sox: I am a Yankee fan so that is enough for me to hate them, haha.
