IMOM Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Was this right? http://msn.foxsports.com/nba/story/6697236
Hangman Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Absolutely it was right... This guy always does everything he can to shoot himself into the spotlight, and it's about time the NBA takes a little more action against him.
spe690 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Good riddens!!! This guy almost seems to be jealous that he isn't in the spotlight enough!
iPapi Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 What he did to Duncan, who is pretty much the NBA poster-boy for good behavior, was flat-out wrong. Kudos to the NBA!
UKPat02 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Wow. One of the best officials in the game. I think this was too harsh.
Belfry Wins Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Yeah I just read it on the wire, he even tried to fight Duncan that is crazy. It kind of makes you wish Duncan would have took him out behind the arena lol. Cya Crawford.
UKPat02 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I think its interesting to see Timmy D get a little emotional.
iPapi Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Wow. One of the best officials in the game. I think this was too harsh. Well, the NBA must be in bad need of good officials. The other guy calling with Crawford during this game was just as bad in making his calls. How many times did he call "hooking" on both teams? That always happens in traffic, and is kind of similar to holding in the NFL in that it could be called on practically every play.
bellalumni40 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Wow. One of the best officials in the game. I think this was too harsh. What would you suggest?
HOMELESS CAMEL Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Don't think he will really learn anything by sitting out, but no need having him out there during the playoffs and making a call that could turn a game or series with his attitude. Nice job by the NBA for doing this.
UKPat02 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 What would you suggest? Suspend him for the rest of the regular season and first round of the playoffs. He's a 2,000+ game vet and you're going to cut him out of the most important part of the season? The guy is a Finals fixture every year. Too harsh. We still haven't even heard his side of the story.
cc22 Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 I would think that the commissioner would not suspend him without knowing the whole story. It's not the first time Crawford has been in trouble either.
Alabama Larry Posted April 17, 2007 Posted April 17, 2007 Umpire Jerry's brother and Shag's Son. Saw an special on the a while back real nice piece. Guy is a out standing ref who happens to be human.
