April 2, 200719 yr Maybe Zambrano has settled down, then again he was facing the bottom of the order.
April 2, 200719 yr Nice job by Harang to get out of the mini-jam. The Cubs appeared to be more patient the entire inning, Murton gets up there and swings at everything.
April 2, 200719 yr Nice homer for Dunn, we know he will end up with 40, can he strikeout less than 200 is what I want to know. Which is why I wondered what was the thinking about Dunn hitting second.
April 2, 200719 yr Which is why I wondered what was the thinking about Dunn hitting second. They wanted to go right left right left throughout the batting order. Well that and the fact that he is 2 for 2 with 2 BOMBS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
April 2, 200719 yr I guess it doesn't matter if Dunn strikes out a lot. Doesn't matter if he gets 300 home runs this year. lol Cubs ace is struggling and the ace for the White Sox has given up 200 runs the first couple innings. What a WONDERFUL start to the Chicago baseball season.
April 2, 200719 yr Nah. Good move to go and a bad bounce... I dont think it was a bad move cuz most of the time that thing goes into the stands or down the right field line. Just happened to hit off the wall the wrong way at the unfriendly confines of GABP.
April 2, 200719 yr Great job by Harang getting out of another jam. Cubs now 0-2 with runners in scoring position and two outs. Barring the Reds really putting this game out of reach, that will be the tell tale stat. Everytime Jr goes after a ball, I can't be the only one who just waits for him to pull up lame.
April 2, 200719 yr Author Harang works out of a bases juiced jam. 80 pitches through 4 innings though...
