April 5, 200719 yr This happened A LOT to Arroyo during his two month stretch last year when he couldn't get that 10th win. He would pitch well a majority of the time and have NO run support or have something not go his way. Once again the Cubs CANNOT get that 2 out hit with a runner in scoring position.

April 5, 200719 yr What an effort by Lilly, I won't fool myself into thinking he will do this all year, but what a great signing if he can pitch well the entire year. Now we will see if that Cubs bullpen can close this out.

April 5, 200719 yr Well you either put a nail in the coffin and put this game away OR you ground into a double play and don't score at all. I hate to be a pessimist, but I have watched the Cubs too long to get excited about this opportunity.
