April 5, 200719 yr Does anyone no the name of the song played for Griffey when he went up to bat? (If you were ther) Everyone was dancing to it lol
April 5, 200719 yr Just got in from the game...miserable. It was freezing, the Reds didn't win, and I had to sit behind THE most obnoxious Cubs fans I have ever seen. Conine looked good in the field today, though. I wish someone could have brought a bat with them tonight.

April 5, 200719 yr In case anyone missed it earlier, Sunday, April 8th should be the season debut for the greatest pitcher to never win 20. ERIC MILTON! Now with the above post you can watch him in picture perfect quality. : ) I actually hope he pitches well, I would be the first to admit I was wrong if he can manage to go a game without giving up 6 runs before he leaves.

April 5, 200719 yr Right center. That is exactly where i sat. Did you here me yelling at the guy in the Sosa jersey?
April 5, 200719 yr That is exactly where i sat. Did you here me yelling at the guy in the Sosa jersey? Why are Cubs fans still wearing Sammy Sosa jerseys? Considering the way he left Chicago, I would rather wear a Mickey Morandini jersey. lol
April 5, 200719 yr I have a feeling we might see a lot games like this one tonight. Not being able to score runs like we need. We are going to need another bat and another pitcher to contend.
April 5, 200719 yr That is exactly where i sat. Did you here me yelling at the guy in the Sosa jersey?  Yes I did! That was hilarious! I sat right behind the two guys in the blue cubs pullovers who yelled at every single player.

I agree, I'm willing to wait til the first month of the season is over with to get a barometer. You are right, that was a big time problem at the end of last year and it shall be interesting if that trend continues. I don't know who the Reds could offer as trade bait to try and get a decent stick in the lineup.
April 5, 200719 yr Froze last night -- for the record. Josh Hamilton is scheduled to start in CF today (12:35) and I'd guess Moeller (or Valentin) will be behind the dish. Ross needs a day -- he has looked absolutely lost at the plate in the first two games.

Ross needs a day -- he has looked absolutely lost at the plate in the first two games. Yet, surprisingly, his defense hasn't looked that bad, despite that botched play last night. Is this David Ross or Jason LaRue? :scared:
April 5, 200719 yr It looked like it was absolutely miserably cold and it sounded like there were a lot of Cubs fans--which surprised me for the second game of the season. Mickey Morandini--"The Dandy Little Glove Man" I haven't heard his name in a few years!
