April 12, 200719 yr Ross has struck out 7 of 17 times he has been at bat. That is what worries me the most. Its not like he is just in a slump and not catching breaks. He is just simply not hitting the ball AT ALL.

If they were, everyone would make the same amount of money. Now, don't give me stats or any of that crap. I'm talking about true worth. If you want to say that Narron needs to sit Griffey because he half-butts everything fine, I may even agree with you. However, don't say they needed to be treated equally. This isn't knothole. Question: Does everyone in your office make the same salary? If you're on the low end, you're obviously not worth as much... And as Welsh said last night, a guy that's only been in the league 2 years can't stand in the box and watch a pop-up. That shows right there that it's become 'acceptable' for a veteran to stand and watch it.

It makes my skin crawl when I see an infielder bobble a ball and still throw a guy out by 10 feet because he was 'dogging' it. I'll take nine Ryan Freel's on my team. I just don't like the 'everyone's equal' argument...

Bench, Morgan, and Rose were all quoted as saying that the best thing about Sparky was that the stars got one treatment and the others got a different expectation.

They showed the replay and initially, it looked as if he lost the ball but then, "appeared" he located it but chose not to run. Not good and maybe a little fire, under someone will get things going.
