April 12, 200719 yr And I agree. My point was always that they were one in the same... But they weren't last year. I remember saying that Larue shouldn't be playing as much as he did last year, not that Ross was a hall of famer. They don't have an every day catcher right now.

I'm with you there. LaRue couldn't bat, talked in third person, but he could play D, which is what you pay a catcher to do in the majors. Manage the pitching staff and play solid defense. Big hitting catchers are few and far between.
