I think they're getting pretty close to being awful...

If you drop every game in the late innings (in new fashion every night) you can't be awful. Awful is getting blown out over and over again. The comedy of errors at the worst moment in every phase of every game is something I'm not sure I've ever seen before. It takes a lot of work to be this close every night and blow it...

And that's what gives guys like you and me optimism ...

Jinx ... :D

Guys, good talent makes Managers look great and mediocre talent, makes a Manager of the Reds.

They simply don't have the talent and those that are MLB players, either aren't producing or can't carry the load, by themselves.

It's almost as if they're trying to lose...

This team needs about 2,500 words to describe the ways they can lose a game. It's too bad none of them involve getting put away for good early...

I wish that was the case. Too bad it's not...

I wish it was that simple. This team needs about 2,500 words to describe the ways they can lose a game. It's too bad none of them involve getting put away for good early...
I'll sum it up, in less than 100....

Below average MLB pitching, in starters, relievers and closers. Veterans at the end of their careers; Role players, who are no longer capable; Youngsters, who are 2-3 years away; No team speed; No true leadoff hitter; Lack of fundamentals; Passion and respect for the game, seems to be missing; A collection of castoffs and has beens....and worse of all to me, going through the motions of playing the greatest game.

The Reds, are a below average, MLB franchise and loosing their fan base, quickly.

Bottom line is the players aren't very good and neither are the manager and coaches. Bad teams fnd a lot of creative ways to lose and this is one very creative team.

I'll say you are wrong on most every point. They are losing the fan base, but in Cincinnati that's not much of a problem to fix.

The Reds are faced with the same team as about 75% of MLB. Losing in a new way every night is the problem. Fixing it shouldn't be that hard. But the fans will make sure it is...

Krivsky is obviously having a tough time "fixing it." Maybe we can help him out. How would you fix it?

How would you fix it?

Rewind 15 years and start over. Where is Marty McFly when you need him...

Thats ironic because I wish I wouldn't have. Harang strikes out at a pitch that almost hit him in the chin.

Do the Reds have a take sign in their repotoire?

How they ever allowed Harang to swing period when the guy was walking everyone is beyond me.

A take sign at 3-2? Good call...
