Most Important Player in the Final Four

Featured Replies

The most important player to their team is Darren Collison, in my opinion. He does a lot for them, and he fits their blue collar, hardnosed ethos perfectly.

I think it's Taurean Green. Florida really doesn't have anybody to run the offense. If he's hitting the 3 off the high screen they are impossible to stop.

Hibbert- If he struggles or get in foul trouble early its going to be a field day for Oden.

Conley Jr from OSU. GTown perimeter shooters.

Lee Humphrey....If he isn't hitting the outside shots, the Gators won't get by the Bruins, not that they will anyways...:D

So you already think your most important player doesn't matter? Strong...

Oden's only scored over 20 four times this season and that was against a weak Big Ten schedule. I know he's a good rebounder (9.5 per game), but how will he have a field day?

If he plays well they have a chance, if not, I don't see them advancing, thus he is important.

Because thats G-towns only legit center.

Personally I think GTown can win with Hibbert in foul trouble, Green on the other hand, not a chance. JG holds that team together imo.

I have to agree on Hibbert...The one thing Xavier, Tennessee & Memphis lacked was a container down low....You take Oden out of the equation and the above 3 teams beat tOSU....Regardless of the stats, he was a force defensively and on the boards and they couldnt get 2nd shots very often... GTown is the 1 team who has an inside presence capable of evening out the paint area...If they do manage to equal it out, Hibbert will be the reason and I'd take my chances in a 4 on 4 against the others...

Oden was on the bench in OT of the X game and for the large part of the OSU run to get back in the UT game. OSU is a better team with Chief on the pine...

Do you think they are a better team without Oden ? Or they just have a more explosive offense with him on the bench ? Ive noticed in most of their games after he gets a rebound a lot of times he doesnt even cross half court. Not sure that tOSU is getting as much out of him as they could with their style of play.
