Most Important Player in the Final Four

Hibbert, he'll show why he's the most underrated player in the nation. With a big performance and a national title he'll improve his NBA Value tremendously. He also has the job of containing Oden. Could be the best bigman matchup in years at the college level.

Do you think they are a better team without Oden ? Or they just have a more explosive offense with him on the bench ? Ive noticed in most of their games after he gets a rebound a lot of times he doesnt even cross half court. Not sure that tOSU is getting as much out of him as they could with their style of play.

They are better as a team with an open post and running the floor. Watching them while he was hurt was like watching a clinic on up tempo ball on both ends of the floor. Now they're slow and don't do a very good job running half court O. He's a force on D but he keeps them from being the team the other 7 guys in the rotation need to excel...

Thats kinda what I thought you were meaning with your original post. I agree with ya, he does slow them down. Its kind of hard to take a 7 footer out, he's nice on the boards and alters a lot of shots on the defensive end. Too bad its not like hokey, someone could just run on the floor during play and take over for him on the offensive end.

Hibbert will be a big factor in the game against Ohio State, IMO he has to stay out of foul trouble and be a factor offensively.

Hibbert- If he struggles or get in foul trouble early its going to be a field day for Oden.

I agree!

I think its Hibbert. Just because it seems like when he is in the game, the offense and defense runs much smoother for Gtown. He makes a couple of nice passses out of the post and that gives him better shots at the basket. With his height he also has a distinct advantage on the boards. He blocks and alters shots on defense and can be an intimidator. It also helps that he is the tallest player left playing.

I was going to say Jeff Green, but I really think that if Jeff Green went down between Summers, Sapp, Hibbert, Wallace etc. that they could make up for the offense. I am not sure though, that they could defend and rebound as well if Hibbert went down...

The most important player to their team is Darren Collison, in my opinion. He does a lot for them, and he fits their blue collar, hardnosed ethos perfectly.

This is where I am placing my vote.
