March 22, 200719 yr This season, the Golden Gophers went 9-22. So, what are your thoughts on his first season at Minnesota? Will Tubby bring any staff from Kentucky? He will obviously bring instant credibility to a program that has been covered in problems a while back. Thoughts?

The Gopher fans will treat him with respect.:thumb:
March 22, 200719 yr Author Will he have a pre-conference schedule anything like Kentucky? If they make the post-season... the NCAA will probably match us together.
March 22, 200719 yr He's going to have 3 pretty good SRs and one of the most pure shooters in America coming in as a freshman. It won't be that tough to climb in to the top half of the Big 11 next year...
March 22, 200719 yr He will turn the program in a positive direction. Make several trips to the NCAA a sweet 16 or elite 8 now and agian and be treated like god.
March 22, 200719 yr He will get the Gophers to the NCAA next year.....Wouldn't that be some poetic justice if he takes them to the FF before UK gets back?
March 22, 200719 yr I think he will be better at Minnesota than he was at UK! Mark it down. The Big-10 style of play is PERFECT for him and he will be treated well there. Isn't it kind of neat that Minnesota's last final four was 1997 (technically, according to the books they never went) and they had to cheat to get there! So aside from that what have they done?
March 22, 200719 yr I hope they go 34-0. Lets go Gophers. Wow that sounds werid. I know I'm a Gopher fan now.:thumb:
