And how much of a step down would that be? I believe we have been on the verge of that the past two seasons, and had it not been for the name on the front of the uniform, I firmly believe that would have been a reality this season. At least the next coach will only have one way to go and that being up where as Tubby took over a team that was a downslide from the first year to the last.

I love UK but nobody in their right mind can defend the way Smith was treated by a very vocal section of the fans. I would say I am every bit as loyal as the so called fans who have created this unbelievable short sighted atmosphere that is at UK now.

 

Rebuilding is going to take time and patience. You get what you deserve. I hope we get Gillespie and the UK fans give him a chance do undue the damage.
