Will J. Sparks be playing offense or Defense or will he once again be used as a kicker only? He would be a nice target at the WR position.

I expect him to be a kicker only.

Springsteen the one that you originally mentioned was imo no doubt one of if not the best RB ever but there were certainly others worth mention. My list would also include J. Boggs, C. Campbell, C. Barker, D. Bostik, K. Bostick, M. Christian, M. Hunt (Hunt just may have been the best ever if not for his h.s. football carrer ending knee injury before his senior year), M. Wilson and B. Adams. I am sure that I am forgetting some but all of these were very good.

Dont get the Doc's head swelled too big.:p :sssh: :thumb:

:fight: good luck raceland from your friends at russell go rams

Welcome to BGP, I hope Russell wins all but one game.:thumb:

He's someone's problem now, they will have to deal with him.

I thought that also. I was hoping that may change. He would be a huge help on either side of the ball.

I've known you for 32 years and had no idea you were a yankee fan,but even if I would have known still wouldn't mattered can't keep but liking you, I feel like I should start into an air supply song

Thats o.k., please spare me  . Boss I am a Reds and Yankee fan and can take the cririsizm for it :D . Maybe if you would had listened to that fine youth league (5th and 6th grade) basketball coach more you would be more on the right track today ;)

:thumb: I agree, the Sparks kid could be a huge help.

Just because we never lost "The Coach" thought it was his doing:p :p an alot of it was:thumb: :thumb:

Nope, the coach had a powerhouse youth league team. He had one power foward that was pretty good but he would tend to get a bit lazy at times.:sssh: :thumb:

I wouldn't know about that I always thought B. Braden gave 110%;) ;)

   Classic, would be believable if Braden wasn't the center. :D Nice one though, you haven't lost your touch. :thumb:

I heard this morning that Raceland did very well in a 7 on 7 tournament at KCU this past weekend. They beat East Carter and Scott Co. I heard that Boyles threw the ball very well, and several receivers did very good, and that the defense did a much better job.

Also, If everyone was not aware, Mike Sammons - Raceland Alumni and former player, has been named assistant coach at Raceland.

Hunt is at the top of the list. I forgot to include him. Without the injury he would have gained a lot of attention at the next level. He was an excellent athlete who excelled in baseball as well and went on to have a nice college career. His only downfall is that he was a Steelers fan.

I played against him 2 years. The first time I ever met him he was lead blocking on a sweep and I was out for the rest of the series. He ran over me, and when he had the football it was worse!

He has since coached my son in baseball and is very good at that as well!

:thumb: If not for the Knee injury, IMO Hunt would have made a name for himself at the D-I level. He did however go on to have a nice career on the diamond.
