2007 Raceland

Featured Replies

I heard this morning that Raceland did very well in a 7 on 7 tournament at KCU this past weekend. They beat East Carter and Scott Co. I heard that Boyles threw the ball very well, and several receivers did very good, and that the defense did a much better job.

Also, If everyone was not aware, Mike Sammons - Raceland Alumni and former player, has been named assistant coach at Raceland.

:thumb: Thanks for the info Ram!

:thumb:Good to hear that things went well. I think that Boyles will turn a lot of heads, he has tremendous upside at the QB position.

Sammons will be a nice addition to the staff. It is always good to see a former Ram come back home.

Welcome aboard Coach Sammons.:thumb:

Your right, Boyles will be a good QB. Also, I see some weird conversations like: are you talking about the GC Mike Sammons or the Raceland Mike Sammons.

Coach Sammons at GC was also a former Ram assistant under Ross.

Congrats too him! I think he is from Lawrence Co originally.

Stick I am not sure but I believe that you are correct on that. Another coach from Lawrence Co. - :thumb: .

You are correct stick and his mom was a Raceland Grad.

That was a nice article in today's Independent about another Raceland assistance coach, Mark Lewis. Good to see the assistant coaches getting some press.
