:thumb: :thumb: I can understand your feelings on that one.

I went to the "Meet The Rams" tonight. Many players looked really good. Boyles threw some nice balls. Peircy, Carver, and Denton ran well. Large and Selvage made some nice catches. The defense looked improved from Spring. And the O line looked like they had gained some experience. May be a nice season for Raceland.

Thanks for the update Ram, I couldn't make it and was hoping that someone would fill us in. :thumb:

By the way, on a different note - does anyone know if Raceland Football is going to have radio/web coverage on all games like we did last season?? I belive it was 1080am that gave us the coverage.

The defense looked improved from Spring.

How did the Corners / D-Backs look?

I thought the RAMS looked alright at times but they need alot of work still in a couple of positions if they do not get them worked out I think it could but along year but it is still early the season has not started yet.The coaching staff will figure it out in time for the first game.

At times alright I think that is were we need the most work but the teams were split up so you never know .We will see how they look as a full unit come saturday (Aug 11) at LOUISA.

:thumb: Thanks Ram for the info.

Selvage is a player that will surprise some people. I especially like him on the defensive side of the ball. Piercy,Carver and Denton can cause a lot of problems for defenses. They do many things well.

Hopefully LC will test your corners and DB's often so you guys can make changes before the season starts.

LC's passing game will be a nice measuring stick for the Rams DB's and the d-line as well.

There is no doubt that LCHS will test the Rams and expose weakness in any area that has it. I for one and I know that others really miss your former Bulldog star G. Parker on the Rams sidelines.

Gerad Parker was a great receiver here for LC and could catch anything we threw at him or his way. I once watched him catch a ball off of a defenders back and still hold onto it. But I look for Raceland to expose LC some Saturday and for LC to make changes as needed. Finally, its football season and I just cant wait to see some hitting going on Saturday in Louisa. ABOUT TIME!!!!!!!!!

Amen brother fokf, Amen!! peach on! :ylsuper: :ylsuper:

Well guys i am back from the whole heart scare again more sugery but i have it on good authority that the Rams looked good for Meet the Rams. Players are still moving positions some trying out some things. Carver, Denton, Piercy, etc.. did well. Boyles I have complete confidence in. Has a good head on his shoulders. Where we were weak right up the middle. Also losing tackles and not getting back up and staying after him. I think it will be all hammered out and as I always say they will start clicking right along. Great to see Mike Sammons back at Raceland. Good to also see several of the Russell boys at there supporting Meet the Rams. HAHA. Nothing negative on that. They were there watched a little and left.

Good to see you back oldram, I though you were on sabbatical or just meditating about the football season.

I thought for this time of the season, the Rams looked pretty good, they were split up so some things didn't look as sharp as they should have, but you put them together on one side of the ball and I think it will look quite different. The two scrimmages will tell a lot about what to expect, and what needs to be ironed out.

I tell you some of the players that don't get mentioned to much looked good. I thought the linemen looked pretty good and much improved. I also thought Todd Selvage looked impressive. Mike Litteral and Ralph Burchett (Freshmen) looked pretty good.

Good to see you back.
