The problem exactly. Remember Marquette had a final four not too long back. Are they considered a power program? What about George Mason? UMASS? Get where I'm going with this? Consistancy is more important is evaluating sucess then big "high's" and low "low's"

I agree. A power program has the swagger to be a contender year in, year out. Kentucky is not there the last few years.

I'll bet you'd have a whole lot easier time telling me who was in the Final Four 2 years ago as opposed to who lost out in the Sweet 16.

When everyone is filling out their brackets, they typically have 3 of the power programs and a "George Mason". Did anyone have Kentucky in either of those two categories this year? If so... thanks for your donation to the office pool.

Morris hasn't panned out? Leading the SEC in double-doubles and carrying us on his back in the postseason?

 

the 4 as a collective group have not panned out. we have gotten beat out in the 2nd round for 2 consecutive years. Morris has had a decent year but not worth all the rest of his crap for the 1st 2 years.

For a 22-12 season and loss in the second round? Louisville should fire Pitino...Michigan State should fire Izzo...Duke should fire Coach K...Texas Tech should fire Knight...

 

We fire Tubby and we're looking at a 12-22 season instead of vice versa, we'll miss out on Patterson and Lucas, Morris will leave, many will transfer. If anything Tubby should leave on his own, the way he is treated by sore losers and pessimists is horrendous.

#1. Rick Pitino b/c every season it was "is he going to the NBA?"

#2. Tubby Smith b/c

a. the players are not "UK Caliber"

b. the team is not fun to watch

c. the team has gradually become less & less competitive

c1. lost 2 consecutive times in the 2nd round of the ncaa tourny

c2. played in opening round of SEC tourny 2 times in a row

c3. lost to vanderbilt 4 times in a row

c4. lost to Florida 6 times in a row

c5. we beat very few teams that are in the Top 25

c6. Lofton & Brewer are not good enough to play at UK BUT Sherary Thomas is!

d. I would be tickled w/ a Final Four since we can't make it to the Sweet 16

e. UK should not settle for mediocrity! Facts are that we aren not even close to being a top 25 team.

Does UK have to get to the point of EDDIE SUTTON before we find out that something is wrong!!! Pitino started 12-12 but it worked out & we got better. Tubby started w/ a national championship & then we've started sinking like a ship.

I only feel sorry for him casue of the stuff he has to put up with... Fans mostly if you ask me... anyother coach would have cracked by now, said I quit or I just cant handle the preasure but not Tubby. I'm glad his our coach I dont know if anyone would want his job...

And that is where you are wrong!!! Most people who support Tubby do care, and I willing to bet that alot care even more than the Tbers, and that is me included. Because I know that there is not a person in the world who could care more than I do...There are very few people if any who have settled for us being a middle of the pack team....

A. If you are satisfied w/ our players then GREAT but I for 1 AM NOT

B-C5. If we had a chance against top 25 teams it would be great but we havent beaten any of them in 2 years.

D. we might as well since then we'd make it to the sweet 16 b/c lord knows we havent played our way into it.

E. are you crazy? if you have a good team & coach, players will come. Players just hate the pressure of going to Florida, Ohio State, Kansas and NC b/c they are afraid that they'll win in those schools!!!

 

UK is the winningest team in college basketball so YES I expect more than what the teams in the past several years have put out.

i wish everyone would quit saying the past several years or the past few years and make it sound like alot more years than it actually is....The last 2 years I can live with, but, imo, thats not several or a few ...
