Also saw the lady eagles in the All A in that tournament they were head and shoulders above the rest of the teams.

Congrats on winning both championships.

Nicholas was a true PUBLIC Class A school.

LCA has became a power awfully fast in all of their sports.

I guess they are coaching better.

How old is the school? I would imagine similar to Lexington Catholic they will be bumped up very soon.

I've been told that Lexington Christian's administration prefers to keep the school's enrollment close to its current level. If true, LCA will be a Class A power in virtually every sport.

i guess the post i wrote a week ago was correct, lca is the best team in the state of kentucky... congratulations

Lady Raiders return everyone, infact after next year I can say the same thing. Look out. Great job for Coach Northington and the girls a very young team. Congrats to LCA.

Congrats to LCA. Definitely the best team in the state.:thumb:

Congrats to LCA.

Also want to give some credit to Coach Sallee who began developing these players a few years ago and then was let go by the administration at LCA.

You might want to correct yourself. The radio said that Nicholas Co. was the only other one to win the All 'A' and Sweet Sixteen, but actually Hazard pulled the hat trick in 1997 winning both. Check the records and you'll see that's correct. So now there are THREE 'A' schools who have done it.

when was the last time the winner of the All A won state?

Hazard Lady Bulldogs did this not too many years ago. I can't remember the year.

Aren't they already 2A in football?

They will be in Class A in the new six-class format.

Thanks for the clarification. :thumb:

LBBC, you are very well informed. Ralph Sallee is a top-notch guy.

You wonder about a place called Lexington CHRISTIAN and the way that Ralph Sallee was treated. Not that Jason Seamonds is a bad guy, but you have to wonder about the administration.
