March 15, 200719 yr I think this game is giving a false sense of how good UL is. No doubt they are playing good but I think a good part of it is how bad Standford really is.

Stanford should have been the team everyone was talking about that shouldn't have made the tourny.. And Syracuse had to go on something like a 20-1 run on their home floor last night to get past Pelphrey's South Alabama squad. There are a whole bunch of teams that can make a case to get the last couple of at-large berths, but right now Stanford sure isn't playing like one of them.
