March 15, 200719 yr You can say Stanford is terrible all you want...Are they a great basketball team? Far from it...But they are a very decent ball club. They also beat Oregon and Washington State...Stanford is having a bad game, and people aren't giving UL enough credit for that, when they deserve it... There are a lot of decent teams that didn't make the tournament. Stanford should have been one of those, they did not deserve to be here, and UofL is just proving that point. Not to take anything away from UofL but when you're beating a team that no one thought deserved a bid, you aren't going to get a lot of credit....

Come on I am a UK fan how much more you want me to say. This doesn't look like the same Standford team I saw play earlier in the year.

Some would have us to believe that Rupp Arena is actually U of L's home-court...combine that with playing the worst team in the tournament and we have a titanic mismatch in Round 1. Seriously, the Cardinals have been playing great basketball as of late, so this shouldn't be a total shock. They deserve credit for how they're playing.
