Corbin, Cumberland, Pineville, Jackson,Bell, Knox Central, Clay and South would be some of the top teams heading into next season based on what they all return. Who knows who will be where when all the dust settles. Whitley, North, Barbourville and Middleboro would be my next pack of teams. 13th region should be very talented next year

Based on the way Corbin had been shooting them, it probably would have ended up 66-65. South was the better team.............Corbin almost caught them at the finish line though.

Corbin's young team will be one of the favorites in the 13th next year. South showed why they are champions and Corbin showed that their kids have TONS of heart. Great game!!!

In no particular order, I'm leaning toward Corbin, Cumberland, Clay, Pineville, Jackson, Knox Central, South Laurel, Bell, North Laurel and Barbourville in the top 10 next year.

 

Middlesboro, Cawood and Whitley have a shot at squeezing in depending how they look in the summer.

 

 

It should be a strong year for the region and very competitive.

North brings everyone back without a senior left on this year's team. They will be much improved as well as long as Conway stays and continues what he has just started to build.

I assume one of the three officals who called this game......it would not be the first thing they missed. I for one would rather see the 13th call the region tourney as opposed to the ones we had this year. Unless we can get the 12th, I say stay in house.

I cannot understand why some people think that he is a homer for Corbin. He was at the regional final game..............but he was cheering for South Laurel, which is his perogative.

I have seen Philpot make some terrible calls against Corbin.

I believe this thread, has reached a good stopping point. Let's not name Officials and then discuss them....
