Fairdale coaches were there tonight, I saw them walking in before the game.

I listened on radio that year ....and boy was I steaming! I remember being at a party and hearing the Clay player joking about that call lol Tonight, I was close up...........Ill cry all week!:fire:

I agree Corbin did get some bad calls, however when the calls did go there way they did not get done from the charity stripe. I don't know the stats but from what I can recall Crawford only hit 1 foul shot all night.

Yep....indeed..they didnt capitalize!

Corbin outscored South by 11 points from the field....but missed too many foul shots...South was 19- 22 on the night according to the radio.

I am still in shock that South had six players on the floor on the last play. How did this happen to them? That would have been a tough pill for them to swallow.

Bottom line TNT the game is over ... woulda, coulda, shoulda, but I want to see the film, though.

South was 19-22 from the charity stripe and Corbin was 6-14

Bottom line Les...woulda, coulda, shoulda gave Corbin a chance to win the game if the officials would have seen it. It would, could, should be a big factor in the last play. Much easier to defend six on five.

 

Corbin missed thier foul shots and South did not. That was one factor in Corbin lossing, but please don't act like it was the only one.

Maybe you should get your license and be an official ... like I said, I can't say if it happened or not.

Corbin played with all their heart and soul. I am very proud of them. I may be biased but it truly did seem that the officiating was a little lopsided. However, we did not convert on several opportunities. We're young and we will be back. If indeed it is found that there were six players on the floor . . . can it be contested? Best of luck to South at Rupp. We'll get ya next year!
