It was brought up in another thread about schools being placed in the wrong district/region.

 

IMO, Henry County is misplaced in the 31st District and SK misplaced in the 8th region.

 

How about others??

Augusta, Bracken, and St. Pat in the 39th district

The Kenton co. public school system has 3 high schools SK, Scott, and Dixie. Each one is in a different region. Geographically speaking I think Ryle should have moved the 8th. They are closer to I-71. I also think they should have taken the other Campbell co. schools and put them in the 10th,thus making the 9th region Boone and Kenton co schools. Just thinking out loud.

I've said for years that it makes little sense for Anderson Co. to be in the 8th, unless the Franklin Co. schools are also in the 8th. Spencer Co. seems a better fit for the 5th Region.

There are a lot of people in Frankfort (from Frankfort, Franklin Co. and Western Hills) who agree with you. Teams from the 8th have to drive through Frankfort (i.e Anderson and Henry/Owen) to play each other.

I'd like to see Mason and Deming switch places. I think it would make a more intense battle for the 39th district title and give these smaller schools a chance. Not saying they can't compete but with a powerhouse like Mason it's tougher to be crowned champion.

I would also consolidate Eminence with Henry County.

Lloyd is part of the Erlanger-Elsmere school district. Erlanger - Elsmere is in Kenton County, but a independent school district.

Henry is just as close to Carroll and is REALLY close to Owen COunty. Owen and Trimble border HC, so why wouldnt they be in the 31st??? Just my opinion though. I dont tihnk SK should be in our region but I am guessing things will never be perfect. I like SK in our region though, just because I like watching their team play.

Yes. The 11th needs another good team. Maybe Berea or Model could go to the 10th in exchange for GRC.
