The Kenton co. public school system has 3 high schools SK, Scott, and Dixie. Each one is in a different region. Geographically speaking I think Ryle should have moved the 8th. They are closer to I-71. I also think they should have taken the other Campbell co. schools and put them in the 10th,thus making the 9th region Boone and Kenton co schools. Just thinking out loud.

 

Ryle is a Boone County school. :confused:

Simon Kenton is closer geographically to 32nd district counter part Walton than any of the 33rd district teams. Ryle may be as well, but Boone and St. Henry, and Heritage are close to the same trip as a trip from Ryle to Walton.

 

Maybe both Ryle and SK should have moved to the eighth??

 

Boone, Kenton, and Campbell counties have many schools located very close to one another. Whichever teams from these counties move would have to travel more in either the eighth or 10 region, just a fact of life. But the ninth region couldn't keep playing with 24 teams forever.

I've said for years that it makes little sense for Anderson Co. to be in the 8th, unless the Franklin Co. schools are also in the 8th. Spencer Co. seems a better fit for the 5th Region.

 

This seems to make some good sense. Would you move the Franklin County schools into the region and ship Spencer out, what would the districts look like?
