March 12, 200719 yr At first glance I'm not seeing a lot of upsets on the brackets....Long Beach State over Tennessee and Old Dominion over Butler are the only ones that I really see as probable. What's everyone else think?
March 12, 200719 yr I like a couple 10 seeds over the 7 seeds, Creighton and G. Tech specifically. I'll take VCU over Duke as well. Davidson will play Maryland tough and if they can hang around long enough, pull the upset. Wouldn't surprise me to see Illinois over Va. Tech, either. The thing about this years tourney is I think you will see more upsets in the second and third rounds than in the first. Their is about 16-18 different teams that I could see making it to the Final 4, if they play their best game combined with a higher seed having an off night. I'll go ahead and pull a GT and say only one #1 seed will make the Final 4. Write that down. Heck, I can't do any worse than him, right?

March 12, 200719 yr See I'm already having trouble with one game... I really wanna pick USC to be upset, but I don't think Ark. should even be in the tourney... if it was Syracuse, KState, Drexel, or probably even Mizzou St. or Appalachian St. I would have picked the upset, but....
March 12, 200719 yr VCU is one of THE most athletic teams in the dance. I have them beating Duke, beating Pittsburgh, and then beating UCLA to get to the elite 8. I've been watching them awhile and they are playing very well at the right time of year. And lets not forget they played in the same conference as George Mason:thumb:

March 12, 200719 yr IF UT and UVA make it to the second round and UT wins, I wouldn't consider it an upset. With that said, I will call it now. UVA could very well lose to Albany. I love my Cavaliers and it would be great to see them come out and put away a darn good team in the first round. Anyone that saw them play this year, knows that they go through LONG scoring droughts since they don't have a consistent 3rd scorer. So I expect, hope, pray that UVA wins, but if they lose. You heard it from me first, it wouldn't be a SHOCKING upset to me.

March 12, 200719 yr Washington St isn't a juggernaut on offense, a few threes could put them behind the eight ball. Davidson is no stranger to tough teams, they play a solid schedule, and can get up and down the floor and their best player Stephan Curry can shoot just like his father, 2nd in the nation as a frosh in scoring just behind a guy name Durant.
