Unfortunately, Russell lost the region in the Raceland district game. Very disappointing to anyone wanting to see the region's best advance to Rupp Arena.

 

Disappointing? You dont know whos going yet. I hate to see anyone get hurt but lets not be a sore loser. Elliot won and I dont think ANYTHING should be taken away from their victory. They were the best team yesterday.

I thought everyone said the other night when Gill dunked three times how he was over the effects of mono. I think his lack of offensive production had quite a bit to do with the great job defensively that Ferguson did. Gill is a good athlete. Ferguson just kept him of the the offensive glass and did not allow the runouts for dunks that occured in the game with Bath County.

Fergusons defense was a big key to the game. Mono takes a long time to get all of your strength back. I'm sure the step up in competition had a much greater effect on him.
