If they lost those two, it would mean that UK was essentially bringing in one player that is worth anything in Stewart, and a project in Williams. They'd have to hit the trail to find whatever scraps were left. In other words, they'd be in bad shape because as bad as this senior class was, if AJ is the only real prospect coming from the next then this one would be worse. Patterson and Lucas are MUSTS. I agree...I think those two are even more important for the seasons after next. If we lose out on those two, imagine what the '08-09 season will look like after Morris, Crawford and Bradley are gone... ...we'd be left with a senior class of Jared Carter, a junior class of Jasper, Meeks, Porter and Stevenson, a sophomore class of Stewart, Williams, et al, and whoever we landed as freshmen that year... ...IMO, Tubby has to get those two. If he doesn't, the future looks bleak, to say the least.

If Morris were to leave we'd be TERRIBLE. Not sure of that. Morris is a liability in so many fashions. While talented, he can only play in a certain style of game. A fast-paced game that increases possessions only encourages him to foul more and play less. With Morris gone and the team being smaller, Tubby could go with a more of a full-court pressing system that he cannot do with Morris on the floor. Stephenson on the back of the press who is quick and can block shots is a better option than Morris. The problem with pressing is that KY is void of team speed. They would definitely have to double team the post on a consistent basis.
