Mason or Clark are obviously well coached to get them into the position as favorites in the region however no coach has done more with less than Carr from Scott. To me that is what the COY award should represent.

I understand that and he has done a good job with that but I still think its Code.

 

And if it is, then I will be extremely happy for him. Mike Code is a great coach and his brother will be a great Head Coach someday as well.

Any reason for the other six teams to even show?? I could save some gas!!

The finals between Clark/Mason should be really good though. Next year, everyone will be playing for runner-up, but Clark does have the matchups and athletes to compete this year.

If I were "seeding" the 10th; it would go like this:

 

1. Mason County

2. Clark County

3. Brossart

4. Scott

5/6. Montgomery County/ Harrison County - tossup

7/8. Deming/Augusta - tossup

 

On paper, Mason County and Brossart get the toughest draws of the "Big 3", but they do get the advantage of being in the upper half of the draw and getting the extra day of rest should they advance.
