Noah's pet name for UK

Featured Replies

Key word here is "was", and he was an assisitant under Pitino who I now don't like along with Bruce "tanning bed" Pearly at UT.

These (UF,UL, UT) are imo U.K.'s main rivals so I don't like them. ;)

I like that. I've always been a Billy D fan though.

He reportedly made comments to Dicky V about the NBA scouts taking another player over Noah. Dickie V. spoke to someone else about it during a broadcast thinking the Mic was off but everyone on the air heard the comments. Of course Billy D denied that he said anything to Dickie. There was a link to the broadcast on a previous thread.

I got ya. I wouldn't consider that "running his mouth", but over the years there hasn't been many things he's done that I would consider low class.

1) Confucious say "keep mouth closed, enemy stay quiet"

2) I would shut up and play if I'd lost 3 out of 4 going into March

3) When you run your mouth and then lose, your serving of crow is much much bigger

4) If I were a Wildcat, I would knock his teeth out in the first 5 minutes of the game, and then make Meow noises at him - I guess I'm just old school like that :)

Agree, and really like no. 4.:thumb:

I would agree with you also. Although he is arrogant he seems to be on the right side of things. He did however, back pedal very quickly when Vitale brought his comments about Noah to the forefront. I would consider it "running his mouth" since it did involve a player that is on his current roster and IMO a coach should never do this, especially when it is just days before the big dance will begin.

I agree. Why not just pump Horford up without bringing Noah into it?

Players talk trash all the time, but you never disrespect your opponent. That is just showing a lack of class. Also I don't think a player is in any position to do so when there team has lost 3 of 4, and is getting ready to play a team that has absolutely nothing to lose and everything to gain.

I have no problem with Billy D's comments, anyone who has watched Florida this year knows that Horford is better than Noah. Noah has no game outside of 5 feet from the basket and he's not strong enough to bang. He is a product of having 3 extremely talented and athletic guys feeding him the ball in good situations. Defensively he is very good, I will give him that.

I've never really liked Billy D either. Not because he coaches at Florida, I've just always thought he looked like a shady character.

His pet name for UK is Kitty-Cats. Now this is what he said." I have a great opportunity to play again on Sunday against the Kitty-Cats"

Now what do all of you think of this?

I call them worse names.

He is an arrogant jerk. Wish someone would hold him down and cut that mop of his.

Yep, off with his top knot.:thumb:

I think that Noah is garbage!!! He has no offense outside of an offensive putback or a fast break dunk! Granted, he does play hard and with alot of swagger though. Keep this guy off the glass on the offensive end and keep Humphrey from hitting the open 3 and the Gators are a very beatable team. :madman:

Sounds like Noah's gonna keep talking until UK makes him stop.

That would be the logical thing to do from a coaches standpoint. His comments could have been Donovan's way of getting the attention of Noah who has not played very well as of late. If so, I hope it backfires.

Why is everybody getting so worked up about one little meaningless comment? Whether he should have said it publicly or not he has earned bragging rights over UK. Not to mention that this one little comment doesn't even pale in comparison to the things he has had to put up with from UK fans. UK fans should be happy he said it anyways, it might finally convince Morris to get his head in the game.

If I do recall.... Florida lost 3 straight last year at about this time AND won the rest of their games, including the national title....BUT I still can't stand Noah! I would love to watch UK beat them on Sunday.

I think UK will win on Sunday. If Florida was 30-0, then Noah could say what he wants to say.

After beating them five straight, he could've called them his "female dog"...
