This guy really sang "My Old Kentucky Home" with the passion that all Kentuckians should have. Whether you be a UL or UK fan, this has to bring a tear to your eye.

If you noticed the differnce there thats also when the players there actually cared about the name Kentucky with a passion also.

That is what I always thought what UK was about. Beautiful job.

Stay on topic gentlemen.

What great clip !!!

Who is that singing?

Let me answer my own question: It is none other than A.B. Happy Chandler.

I don't care who comes along in the future, but NOBODY but Happy Chandler should be singing "My Old Kentucky Home" at the UK Senior Days.

NOBODY!!!!

Ditto. I can feel the ole heart strings getting tugged right now.....

Just one of the most heartfelt renditions you will ever hear.

WOW that was GREAT to listen to...

I stumbled across a thread in the GD forum that had this video of A.B. Chandler's unparalleled rendition of "My Own Kentucky Home." I thought this forum would be a good place for it.

Simply outstanding!

I merged all 3 threads on this. :thumb:
