I have to disagree in a way with you on your other comment, my negative commments usually surface in response to posters that all they seem to do is post negative . I won't even comment on the loser comment. One thing that I think I can prredict for certain is that you will be on here bashing any and all future coaches no matter who they are. I actually think that you enjoy U.K. losing so you can post your negative stuff. You have a right to post what you want and I respect that even thouigh I strongly disagree with most of it. February 20, 200719 yr Tubby has 2 first round draft picks to his credit. He's had 3 players some to his school who could have been 1st round picks out of HS, went to UK instead, and now are either done with their careers or they are Randolph Morris.
February 20, 200719 yr Imo you may be right about this on Rondo, he probably would have went somewhere where he wasn't required to play TEAM basketball. He was an assist machine at Oak Hill and certainly wasn't padding stats by leading the team in rebounding last year.

You are throwing the other side of a valid argument out the window because you are emotional about the topic after the Bama loss. The topic at hand (before you ran it off the road) was a verbal from a junior on the rise that had other major programs taking a look. He visited, loved what he saw and got on board. Playing ahead of the game is how it works these days and this is a move in the right direction. I've asked around the Rivals network and have yet to hear a bad report on this kids game. It's a step in the right direction, but because you are frustrated you refuse to accept it... Haven't I admited that part of the reason I'm not excited about this is Tubby's prior recruitments?

What if they lose the first game of the SEC tournament, lose to Florida, Georgia, and Vandy? The last 10 games are the biggest right? If they were to go to the sweet 16 I'd be shocked. I can't imagine them making the elite 8. "playoffs........................"

Words like "I'd say" and "my guess" are simply opinion words..It's clear you have an opinion, but, that opinion can't be called pretty accurate with no basis or facts to back it up... There is no chance those players were/are happy with what they got out of KY and I guarantee they second guess it every day. You know who else sees it? Recruits. 2 first rounders in 10 years from Tubby and the NBA Prima Donna's shy away and why wouldn't they? They want to be the next Jason Parker? Marvin Stone? The next center to not get drafted and return to college? Maybe the current players and offense gets them pumped to play at KY........

I don't see a bright future with KY at the helm for the Cats. Look to the past for guidance on how to be successful and being successful means getting the best recruits in the country. It doesn't always work but Billy D finally won one, Roy Williams finally won one. Get the best players to come to your school and you'll be successful. That shouldn't be that hard of a task in KY. Players aren't going to KY on name alone anymore, they are passing on KY due to the coach(Brandon Wright). 2 first round NBA players in 10 years........ Who wants to come to KY???????????????????????? 3 Stars................ My arguements making sense now?
