I think the fact that you're handcuffed on offense at UK plays a bigger role in recruits turning UK down...but the two are probably related to some degree, at least.

February 21, 200719 yr Prince's freshman year was 98-99. Tubby began recruiting before the 97-98 season. So I would guess Tubby recruited Prince.

I can think of Stone and Morris, but the other isn't coming to mind.

Morris was a lottery pick, Stone was the number 1 rated player in the country, and Parker was a lottery pick. Had they skipped college they all would have been drafted in the first round. The recruiting experts are college guys and have nothing to do with the NBA draft projections, but all 3 of those guys would have gotton drafted in the 1st. We've been given 3 first round draft picks and produced 2 (who happened not to be the same guys).
