The season started with Driver as one of the favorites to bring home the award. In the first two weeks of the season he had 5 carries for 235 yards and 4 TDs, 9 catches for 107 yards and 2 TDs, 2 tackles, 1 TFL, and 1 INT.

He missed the next two games.

Last week against Ballard he had 7 catches for 86 yards and a TD, then 3 tackles and a TFL to go with it.

All eyes were on this week against St. X. Not only did the Rebels need a big game from him, he needed a big game to stay alive in the conversation. A big game he needed, and a big game he delivered. After a first drive pick six, he blocked the PAT to keep the score 0-6. From there, the very next play he mossed a St. X defender and out ran the rest as he ran 84 yards for the TD, and the Rebels never trailed from there. He finished the game with 8 carries for 20 yards and a TD, 4 catches for 164 yards and 2 TD. And if that wasn't enough, he also threw a 12 yard TD to finish with four TDs. Defensively he had two tackles and never came off the field. He didn't have to punt, but if Boyle needed to punt he is their punter as well.

The next few weeks he won't get but probably a half of play, but he will have the chance to have another big game against Frederick Douglass at home week 11.

From the 2026 Mr. Football Watchlist (10/5): https://bluegrasspreps.com/forums/topic/260116-2026-mr-football-watchlist-105/

- As if opponents needed something else to worry about, the scope of Seneca Driver's skillset has been expanded to include his arm. He threw, caught, and rushed for touchdowns against St. X. Altogether, he accounted for four scores and 108 receiving yards in his primary role as a pass catcher.

He's also the punter.

Thanks @Rebel and I included that in my opening:

He didn't have to punt, but if Boyle needed to punt he is their punter as well.

This is a one-horse race for Mr. Football.
