Manual looked bigger and more athletic across the whole team and showed up in the final score. At North Hardin next week might be a tough game the way St. X is playing. Team seems to have regressed.

Might just be families of players and me in the stands this Friday. I'm a fox hole fan. I was one of the few fans that went to UofL games when Kenny Payne was coach. I can endure rough times.

I generally don't care who wins this game, but since RPI matters for home games in the playoffs, I'll have to root for X. RPI is a bad system.

I just can’t agree with your assessment

X has size and athletes. Manual is very good but just like Elder and Boyle not 30 points better athletes.

Not we can’t compete at all better athletes.

I was working chain so got good look at teams and Manual was bigger and more athletic across the board. A few positions of St. X were bigger but overall not.

X is not so short on talent that we can’t at least be competitive. You are just not going to sell me that bill of goods. And there are guys not playing who are fast and strong. It’s a bad joke. X has not competed in 4 weeks. We are getting worse not better. The scheme is horrible. The there are no adjustments. The personal fouls are constant. The coaching is not acceptable.

X had a really good coach the last several years.

It’s not that X is losing, it’s that we are getting embarrassed every week.

The silver lining is that will get Trinity in 2nd round and season will be over with and then hopefully be better next season.

You are assuming we will beat North Hardin and PRP. Let’s not get cocky!

X will have no problem with N Hardin. Manual, now healthy, is a pretty darn good football team. Their defense is fast and very physical. X has issues, that is obvious but Manual is good.

It appears the X schedule is pretty easy at least against the remaining district games anyway I was wondering when is the last time they had a losing record again it probably won’t come to that but just curious.

They will have to beat the two district teams plus Madison Central to avoid a losing season. They would be 5-5 and after playoffs would be 6-6. Madison Central will be a tough game to win. They've played since 1917 but not sure if have had a losing season. If so, was probably decades ago.

Did they have one in 80s? I feel like one of Glaser's first teams might have had a losing record.

I believe this is all correct.

St. X worst seasons

6-5 in 1988 (Shutout 3 times)

5-4-1 in 1970 (Shutout 2 times, scored under 10 points in 7 games)

4-4-2 in 1961

5-6 in 1958

4-5-1 in 1951

4-5-1 in 1950

So, last losing season 1958, and only 3 since 1946.

When? The last time Glaser led the Tigers was in 2012.

Oh, sorry... I got caught up in the St. X-allowed and supported stream of consciousness of someone's Twitter feed...
