Hoping for a Brewers/Sox series just because it's new.

The sensible fan in me wants Brewers/Rays because it's 2 covered fields so no rainouts or the potential of a windchill in the teens game like you may get in Chicago, NY or Cleveland.

Here comes the Dome Series.

Two teams who play baseball the old fashioned way. Should be fun to watch. Will it start a trend?

Both teams are heavy into analytics, but do chase a more contact driven approach with rather than chasing the 3 true outcome approach. And the Brewers won the NLCS by outslugging the Dodgers. The Brewers and Rays are both very modern in their pitching approach, The Brewers lean heavily on a dominant, high-leverage bullpen loaded with power pitching while the Rays utilize trend toward focusing on pitching matchups and heavy changeup usage. Both teams are fun to watch, and it's nice to see these two teams with low payrolls beat up all the high payroll teams to make the WS.

MLB will have a 1st time series winner no matter who wins.

There are some teams around that you would have to beat them over head for a while to get them to even consider a different approach. 🫤

True for about 30 other teams.

....and I was thinking of one local team.

Game one of the World Serries tonight. Will the long down time for the Brewers be a plus or minus for them?
