Highlands beat Boyle County and CCH lost to Beechwood, makes total sense to me.

Highlands headed down to the endzone for their entrance to the field wearing all white unis and pants.

Covington Catholic was in their blues, top to bottom.

The Tusk appears to have made the trip to Park Hills with the Birds.

Thank goodness!

Colin Vinson added as a captain tonight for Covington Catholic. There was a notable increase to the applause from Cov Cath's stands when his name was announced with the captains.

Solid move by the Colonels.

Cov Cath wins the coin toss and has elected to receive the opening kickoff.

Spencer Clukey and Mac Cogswell still in street clothes for the Colonels. Bummer.

Birds win 24-7. It's going to be closer than people think.

Smith and Kirtley back deep for the Colonels tonight receive the kick.

Brandon Smith returns the kickoff from the 13 out to the 18 yard line.

1st and 10 Colonels.

Dylan Courtney throws as he scrambles and the ball is intercepted at the Cov Cath 45 yard line.

1st and 10 Birds

Armstrong runs left.

2nd and 9 Highlands on the Cov Cath 44.

Pass to Feldbrugge.

3rd and 2 Birds in the Cov Cath 37.
