Here is the winning touchdown for Bourbon County. Looks like a tush push, which I thought was illegal in high school.

Here is the final play where Lloyd Memorial's touchdown to potentially tie/win was ruled incomplete for being out of bounds in the back of the end zone.

You agree he appears to be out, correct?

RPI in the east should be very interesting now. Lloyd was 4th coming into this game. Bourbon was 14th. Expect both teams to win out the regular season. One thing that will be interesting is how Bourbon only scheduling 9 games will affect their final RPI. Gonna be interesting.

I think his toe is in and his heel is up. Of course I wanted it to be in, but that's not what the official called. No catch

Why do they only have 9?

Hats off to Lloyd Memorial. Bourbon County has some special kids like Fred Carson who has returned 70% of all special team plays this year for touchdowns. Madi Bell has a legit case for best RB in 3A. These two teams could possibly meet again late in the playoffs.

If we met them late in the playoffs and our RPI is higher, they would have to come to Lloyd. Right?

I agree. Super close but he looks out of bounds.

They had Lexington Sayre scheduled before the season started but they game got taken off after Sayre had to schedule Berea for a district game from what I was told. And they only played 9 games a year ago, after losing Morgan County, who had a game scheduled with Paris at the same time.

I believe you are correct. Which IMO is another flaw in the playoff system. If two teams are in the same district, and they have to play each other again in the playoffs. Their district standing should outweigh the RPI at that point, especially with there being a head to head result.

With that said I want Lloyd to win, so I would be very happy that Lloyd would get to host if they were to play again.
