65-0 CAL final

In other news, a dog barked at a cat. Why is CAL playing Central Hardin? There are plenty of strong football programs in Indianapolis and Cincinnati that CAL could and should schedule.

Or could play T? That'd be nice.

During the next cycle it has been challenging, CAL will likely be playing an out of state team next year at the end of the regular season. X at least tried to work out a deal, give them credit. Boyle went radio silence when time to fish or cut bait...real talk.

T available the week after the state title? Redman can hook up Lynn Family Stadium. Be just for funsies...how bout it?

Absolute embarrassment for a Central Hardin program that is a total train wreck.

I will say this for those kids, they were obviously outmatched, but they didn't quit and kept trying. That says a lot about their character and it's something to build on. You could tell by just looking at them, that they are extremely young so it will just take time to develop. I hope Coach Gregory is given that time.

CAL has figured out the formula for JV playing time. With their weak schedule, they are in running clock situations normally early in Q2. Nothing to see here.

1) For someone who stated "nothing to see here", you sure do seem to have an awful lot to say about it.

2) Good question of why is CAL playing Central Hardin. I would say it's probably the same reason Trinity played PRP last year. It's a contractual obligation and both parties have to agree to break it or else pay a good size fine. Anyway, I know you state that CAL has a weak schedule. The thing is, this is the 2nd year of the 2 year cycle for these contracts. In 2024 when most of these contracts were signed for the 25-26 cycle, teams like Central Hardin were coming off of 3 straight regional finals appearances, Ryle was coming off of a state title game where they were actually leading Trinity at halftime of that game and Bowling Green was in the middle of winning another state title. Sometimes it's tough to predict that programs will fall off the way they did. It's like there was no way of Trinity necessarily knowing that Male would be a 5 loss team in 2025 and potentially a .500 team in 2026. I hope that answers your question.
