  1. Manual Owensboro Saint Xavier Johnson Central Beechwood Tiebreaker #1: Total points in the Manual / South Warren game. - 63
  2. Frederick Douglass Trinity Franklin County St. Xavier Murray Tiebreaker #1: Total points in the Highlands / Frederick Douglass game. 64
  3. I think Etown wins this one by at least 14.
  4. I can't imagine they will go to anyone but who has applied. Principal just left. Superintendent appointed a interim principal without even trying to post the position. Nelson and Thomas Nelson are going to two campuses 6th-12th grade with plans to have one principal over each campus and then 3 aps. Still no athletic director in place and apparently the Superintendents right hand man, the COO is in charge of filling this position. They also have no girls soccer coach in place right now.
  5. It is usually not a good sign when someone at the Central Office is the one calling applicants. District leadership has screwed up big time here.
  6. My first and only call would be to Phillip Stockdale. Listen to the man, give him whatever he needs. He's from the area, and is a guy who has several years under his belt in the game. This would be a very smart hire for Montgomery County.
  7. The bowling green schools fall into region 2 for wrestling. This extends up to Nelson Co. Region Realignment is coming soon for wrestling.
  8. Key to this game is the defensive line for the Cardinals. If they can pressure Bardstown QB Carson Riley they will have a chance. Also in this rivalry, the longer its stays close the more I like the Cardinals. But if Bardstown jumps out to decent lead, it will be a long night for the Cards. Boston has done a great job from what I have seen from afar. With Seniors Cam Morley and Jake Reynolds, this is the best shot for the Cards. But I think the defensive and offensive line play will have a huge factor in the outcome, and in that area I think Nelson is better.
  9. It got uglier. Running clock… Warren East came out ready to play tonight
  10. New system with one of the hardest schedules in the state, and with really only 5 to 7 kids who had ever been contributors, yeah it was rough. But still made the region final when every other school in Hardin County was sitting at home on the couch. But I'm just a old soul that enjoys running the football, what do I know? Word on the street is Central will be with outside their starting LB. Not sure how the Bruins defense will hold up if that is true.
  11. Only 2 players transferred to Etown from Central Hardin after last season. Neither of those guys would have been starters at Central. You have watched a lot of Central Hardin football @Hardin County Preps. They are finally in the gun running the spread just like you always have wanted. I am sure its only a matter of time before they light up the scoreboard.
  12. Thomas Nelson does have great facilities. However in my opinion Nelson County just isn't big enough for 2 public high schools, considering Bardstown and Bethlehem are in town.
