Central Hardin (0-3), enters this matchup being outscored a combined 115-0 in its first 3 games of the season. The Bruins problems are multiplied by bad offensive/defensive line play, lack of playmakers at the skill positions on offense, and a defensive secondary that keeps getting exposed. Add to that dismal punting/kicking, this team will surpass last year's team in losses.

The loss to Elizabethtown 50-0 and the Panthers loss to LaRue County 35-0, paints a picture of how bad this Bruins team really is this season.

North Hardin (1-2), will be coming into this game smarting from a 51-7 loss to Pulaski County. In that game, the Trojans imploded, making costly mistakes and being overwhelmed by Pulaski County in all phases.

Pulaski County QB Kal Ridner was 16-35 for 221 yards and 3 passing TDs. RB Kasen Brock rushed for 111 yards .

As always, North Hardin will have the best athletes on the field when they face the Bruins. They will overwhelm this Bruin team in all phases.

Will CH get their first points of the season is a reasonable question. I hope they do. Turn some first downs into ball movement and then into some points. I hate to see kids go through this. I've been there once or twice. It is a tough hole to dig out of. We had to do it at JH. The year that the Pittman kid was a freshman (2022) we had 51 players and 36 had never completed a high school football season. We started a ton of 9th and 10th graders. We eventually got it turned around. My first year at Franklin-Simpson we went 3-8. We played a bunch of young kids then as well. 4 seasons later we played for the state championship. Just got to believe and stay the course.

North rolls in this one, Bruins just can't seem to get anything going unfortunately.

What has happened to Central Hardin? Just 2 seasons ago, they were in the region finals. North has too many athletes and CH may not score again, North 49-0.

It is tough to go through it and it guts you as a coach knowing that the kids are trying, there's just not a whole lot you can do. They're not physically or even mentally there yet. I remember coaching at Bullitt Central in 2001 & 2002. We went 1-19 in 2 years there. In 2001, we had about 50 kids on the roster. Only 5 of them were returning letter winners from the year prior, so it was tough. We also started a lot of freshmen out of necessity. They weren't anywhere close to ready, but it was what we had. I remember playing district games against teams like Meade County when they had Blake Powers, PRP with kids like JaJuan Spillman and then North Hardin with Andre Woodson. It felt like every halftime was extended because we were everyone's homecoming opponent.

The Bruins are struggling executing on both sides of the ball. QB play has not been great. Special teams is also struggling. Vs Atherton they had 4 punts for a combined 35 yards
